DUCKWORTH, Adonis - Putnam

Last rites for Adonis N. Duckworth,  65 of 2422 North Sherman Drive will be in the Harry W. Moore Funeral Home, 2446 North Gale Street at 2 Saturday afternoon.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill cemetery.  Mr. Duckworth died Wednesday night.  He had been an employee of the Big Four Railroad 40 years. He was born in Fillmore and came to this city in 1893.  He was a member of the Order of Railway Conductors. Surviving him are the widow, Mrs. Joretta Duckworth; three daughters, Mrs. Nora Bayrich; Mrs. Grace Griffin and Miss Viola M. Duckworth and four sons: Clarence S. Duckworth; Claude Duckworth; Gordon Duckworth and Elmer Duckworth all of Indianapolis. – kbz
